What's up, I'm Nico. My passion for photography started when I was in my eighth grade year of middle school. My brother just bought a brand new camera, and I asked to try it out. After randomly taking some photos of my dog, I apparently stumbled across the rule of thirds, leading lines, and laws of symmetry in my first few photos. But I couldn't tell if I was good, or if it was just luck. The next year of school, my freshman photography teacher told me that one of my photos belonged in a catalog. He said that I had a natural talent and an eye for the rules of photography. After he said that, I knew I had to pursue something in this career. Soon after I learned about editing, color grading, masking, and light direction. From that moment on, I found my passion; Showcasing the world through my eyes, a lens.
Hi my name is Jonathan McCormick, I am the owner and founder of Makeshift Productions. I've always had a passion for media and film. Back when I was a kid, I was on vacation with my family. And my dad gave me his old phone, but the only thing downloaded on it was IMovie. So bored out of mind, I opened it up and just started creating. From that point forward I just never stopped and that little kid inside of me that loved it just kept going. Fast forward to now, I built a company that reflects my passion for media. I plan to change and shape the way people use media in the world; to tell powerful stories, embark on real change, and build communities.
Yo, I'm Maddox! When you think about video editing, you probably think about sitting in a dark room watching the same clips over and over slowly losing your sanity and motivation to work on the project. I LOVE that feeling, I thrive on the monotony of video editing, the process to me is fulfilling, as I get to transform a raw outline of an idea into a polished vision. The creative process is every step of the journey for me. I love to think about ideas for projects even when I'm not at my computer and learning new techniques to apply to my work. I only post projects that I would watch many times myself, because I want to love the work I produce. You can be assured that I will put my heart and soul into your project because I embrace it as a representation of myself, my hard work, and my passion.
